About Heavenly Paws

Heavenly Paws exists because of a sheepdog cross called Raffles, a grandad who loved him quietly and completely, and the belief that every dog — pedigree or not — deserves to be properly remembered.

Heavenly Paws is a Yorkshire-based small business founded in 2025 to create personalised memorial keepsakes for every dog who mattered — and the people who loved them.

Where Heavenly Paws Began

Raffles wasn’t a show dog. He was a sheepdog cross — not particularly rare, not particularly tidy, just very much loved. He was our founder’s grandad’s dog, and the two of them had that particular bond that some people are lucky enough to witness: the kind where you understand, without anyone having to explain it, that this dog is not a pet. He’s family.

When Raffles was gone, the grief was real and quiet and not the sort of thing that had anywhere easy to go. That stayed with us. It planted a question: why isn’t there more out there for people like him? For the ordinary dog, the rescue mutt, the scruffy terrier who thought every walk was the best walk he’d ever had — not just the golden retrievers in photogenic fields.

Heavenly Paws was founded in Yorkshire in 2025 to answer that question. Every dog qualifies. Every dog deserves a keepsake made with care.

What We Do

We make personalised memorial gifts for dogs who mattered — which is all of them. Keepsakes for the garden they used to tear around, gifts for the mantelpiece, little things that keep a name and a face close by. Each one is personalised for your dog specifically, because a generic gift isn’t really the same thing at all.

We’re not manufacturers — we’re personalisation specialists. We work with trusted UK suppliers and take care of every order ourselves, checking each one before it goes out the door. Production takes two to three working days for most items, and we send everything via Royal Mail.

Why Personalisation Matters

There’s something important about seeing their name written down. It’s a small thing, but it isn’t. A keepsake that just says “beloved dog” could belong to anyone. One that says their name — your name for them, the one you called across the park — belongs only to you.

Grief for a dog is specific. It’s the lead still hanging by the door, the habit of checking whether the gate is shut, the way you still buy the wrong amount at the supermarket. A personalised memorial gift acknowledges that specificity. It says: this was a particular dog, and that dog was yours.

That’s why we think personalisation isn’t an add-on — it’s the whole point.

Who We Are

We’re a small Yorkshire-based team. Not a warehouse operation, not a faceless drop-shipper — a small group of people who care about what we’re making and for whom we’re making it. Most of us have dogs of our own, or have loved dogs we no longer have, which means we understand what it is you’re looking for when you land on a page like this.

We’re new — Heavenly Paws launched in 2025 — but the reason we started isn’t new at all. It goes back to Raffles, and to the idea that good dogs deserve good remembrance.

What Makes Us Different

A few things we think matter, and that we’d want to know if we were the ones shopping:

Every gift is personalised in-house by our team, not outsourced at arm’s length. We check every order before dispatch — not because we expect problems, but because we know what it means when the order going out has someone’s dog’s name on it.

We’re honest about our process. Most of our products include a design preview so you can see exactly how your personalisation will look before you place your order. If something ever arrives wrong — if we’ve made an error — we fix it properly, with a replacement or a full refund. No fuss.

And we’re a British small business. Our team is in Yorkshire, our suppliers are in the UK, and when you get in touch — at support@settusfree.org.uk — you’ll hear back within 24 hours.

A Word Before You Go

If you’re here because you’ve recently lost your dog, we’re glad you found us — and we hope something on the site feels right. If you’d like any help choosing, or if you have a question about personalising a gift, we’re easy to reach at Contact Us.

Raffles was a sheepdog cross, not a pedigree. He’s the reason all of this exists. We think he’d have been quietly pleased about that.
