Meet Lorentzo, a stunning boy who is 3 – 4 years old and is currently in a shelter in Greece. He was found in the middle of the street trying to avoid cars and was saved by a local lady who asked for help to rescue him.

Lorentzo is a very calm and sociable dog and very affectionate towards people. He is a smaller setter and has the most beautiful long hair. He gets on well with other dogs and can live with cats. He is also good with children. He was previously adopted in Greece but returned after 3 days because he was too calm!  He would benefit from having a canine companion to play with and to learn from.He walks nicely on the lead.   You can read more about a working setters character and behaviour here.

Lorentzo is neutered and has had all of his vaccinations and treatments. He has had all his health checks and tested positive to erlichia – a tick bourne disease (1/400). He has finished treatment for this and he’s doing fine. He tested negative to leish. Please read more about Leish here

Adopters are expected to pay an adoption fee and transport costs for their dog, this ranges from £350 – £550 depending on the sex, age and country the dog is travelling from. Please read more here.

Do you think you could be the right family for Lorentzo? Could you envisage him lying on your sofa or walking by your side each day? If so, please get in touch.
